ABO Certification

Not all orthodontists are board certified. While all orthodontists complete dental school and 2–3 years of orthodontic training, only some go the extra mile to earn certification from the American Board of Orthodontics (ABO).

Board certification means they’ve passed rigorous exams and demonstrated real patient outcomes to a panel of experts. It’s a way of proving they meet the highest standards in orthodontic care.
